Ok so over the past 60 years microscopes have developed and of course cells are small so scientists want to examine them in detail. But WHY do they want to I've got two reasons already:

  • to examine the structure of organelles and even the cells
  • to investigate the chemical reactions that goes on within the cells

anything else?
