Starting an Economis Personal Statement

Hi,
I am applying to study economics with AAB and struggling to start my personal statement. I have lived in the Middle East and spent a lot of time there and also travelled a lot so I thought about writting about this and how seeing these different cultures and economies has increased my interest in studying economics so I want to get some second opinions?

Or any other tips for starting and concluding the statement?

That's fine as long as you focus on the economics and why you want to study it at uni. Your conclusion should come back to your interest in the subjects and why you feel prepared for uni.
