Hi,

When I was younger I had a lot of problems. For a start, I was a late learner and I find remembering things can be difficult

Recently at university, I tested for dyslexia as I felt that it was harder to cope.

I was tested positive for dyslexia, and looking at the symptom - I have been suffering from it for many years.

I am socially awkward, I don't have many friends, I have been hated and bullied etc.

I don't get why I am dyslexic. My mum and dad are not dyslexic, my siblings are not dyslexic! But I am.

I don't know how to live with dyslexia. I have all the symptoms and I am socially awkward.

Does the staff at your university know that you're dyslexic? They need to know, it will help you out so much.

You will have more time during exams, more time to prepare. You will also get specialist help.

Dyslexia is very common - there's nothing to be embarrassed about.

There's no need to be feeling awkward about it, too.

We all have our flaws. The key is to embrace this mere obstacle and keep on going.

We're all here to support you.

Yeah my uni know about it all.

I am struggling on the social side of life. Being bullied in my childhood has made me lose significant confidence and made me lose many friends.

I do find it upsetting admittedly when I see people my age enjoying themselves. I don't like seeing people who have studied with me at high school and I tend to only think about the staff at high school. The staff at my high school have had an impact on my successful life in terms of academia and job prospects
