I know there are multiple posts about this already but its so difficult to find somebody in exactly the same position as i am in.
I did my GCSES in June 2014 and my grades were as follows
Mathematics - A

Biology - A

Chemistry - A

Physics - A

English Language - A*

English Literature - A

History - A

Geography - A

Religious Studies- A

ICT- A

French - A*

I am currently studying AS Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Psychology and i am predicted ABAA.

I've always wanted a lab-based career so my aim was to apply for Biomedical Science or even Medicine (as i know multiple people who have done a medical degree and gone into lab-based jobs) but i'm scared my GCSE results will prevent me from applying to some of the top universities.

Please could you help me and give me some advice as to what i should do?

Thank you so so much.

Thank you for replying! Ahh, a lot of people have told me i need more A*'s to get into universities like UCL and have recommended resitting. Do you reckon its worth it?

Thank you for replying! As i said to the other person, many people have told me i haven't got enough to apply for Medicine or Biomedicine and i'm even considering resitting.
Do you think its worth it?

As long as you have 5 A*-C GCSEs it doesn't matter all that much. Medicine can be a bit funny about it, but it doesn't make all that much difference with Biomed.

If you're looking to apply to Cambridge they might not be happy with them, but as long as you get As and A*s at A-Level, 9 As, 2 A*s and no Bs or below shouldn't be a problem with other top unis.

With those GCSE grades No where would reject you to be honest your ABAA would be more of a problem(kind of you will still get very good offers) drop the B and AAA will get you in any where a 4th A level is often not wanted by universitys
