Hi all, wondered if someone could provide me with some advice re funding. I hadn't planned on seeking out financial aid but one of my parents has died recently just after the application deadline and im in a rather unexpected situation. I realise I have other priorities to focus on now, however, this is something that is important to me, and to be honest is helping me have a break from all the stresses of bereavement - though its not much in the way of fun.

Im a post graduate and having claimed tuition/maintenance loans im not eligible to apply again for SLC loans.

Am I right in thinking I can apply for a means tested bursary from NHS? I thought this was only for year 5 if I was to be accepted on an undergraduate course (all choices are 5 year). Im a little confused as to where I can look for financial help.

cheers.
