Hi, i currently need a recent event showing the impacts of money supply to the economy (unemployment, output,etc) to put in my PS. Do you guys have any suggestion?

You don't need to put current affairs like that in your PS - you can talk about theories, studies, lectures etc. talking about what interests you

Why do you have an analogy? You don't need one - your PS should be about your interest in the subject

I'm applying for LSE so I should also bring some of my thoughts and analyze books that I have read.

A bit, but don't make it like an essay. And to analyse you don't need to mention analogies
