I have applied to join the army, however I have a minor wrist injury that stops me from doing press ups (I obtained this injury after I applied).

Obviously with this injury I will not pass the medical nor be able to complete the selection process as I will not be able to do the press ups.

Does this mean that when I get to the selection fitness tests/medical and fail I will have to re-apply, or will they let me recover then do my medical/fitness instead of going through the long application process again.

You wont get a definitive answer on here.

Speak to the medical team.
