Hi all
I'm looking to study Accounting &Finance at either Royal Holloway or Surrey but I'm struggling to pick. Both are fairly the same in student satisfaction , entry requirements etc (Surrey AAA-AAB and RHUL AAB). However Surrey offers a work experience placement and it higher up the table than RHUL, but I've seen comments that RHUL will get more recognition because it is a University of London?? Does it matter that much or not?
Please helppppppp
Thanks

It doesn't matter very much, no. I would follow the work placement assuming I wasn't doing the degree purely out of interest.

The University of London cachet would only be of interest overseas and only because it sounds good rather than making a practical difference to your education. Otoh a year in industry is definitely worth having.
