After getting someone's number, what do people think is a 'good' time period to wait before getting in touch with them. Bearing in mind you see them everyday

I'd say about 6 years. By then she'll probably have forgotten who you are and you'll be able to become her 'mysterious admirer'. You'll be well in then.

More to the point would be whats the point of questioning the motives or someone posting anon. And then what is the point of this post? And what would be the point of posting to question the motives of questioning the motives of someone who is asking why I posted anon???

As you unfortunately missed, the OP is waiting to contact his crush by phone, when he is seeing her everyday. IMHO its stupid to walk around blanking someone only to give them a ring when the sand in your timer runs out.
