Giving you the answer straightaway on hgere is frownned upon so I'll just help you work through it. Start with the easy bit 5(10x+8) and times it out

i had already worked it out i just wanted to check to see wether i got the right answer or not :tongue: = 400x^4+1920x^3+1760x^2+1360x+320 ?

I got 400x^4+1520x^3+2160x^2+1360x+320 using two different methods

I'd argue that is the simplified form.

Well

10(5x+4)(2x+2)^3
5(10x+8)(2x+2)3=5(2(5x+4))(23(x+1)3)=...5(10x+8)(2x+2)^{3}=5(2(5x+4))(2^{3}(x+1)^{3})=...

I originally just took the 2 out and forgot to cube it
