Okay cool! I gotta tell you I miss AS Japanese! And tips? DEFINITELY make sure you revise AS kanji well. They could ask you absolutely anything in terms of the reading and translation so make sure you know it all. And maybe revise environment and global warming this year? I've got a feeling that will be the topic of either the reading or the writing in the AS paper. It hasn't been asked in a while. To get top marks in your writing, really showcase your grammar knowledge as much as you can but obviously make sure it makes sense :P The more sophisticated your writing is and the more grammar and kanji you use, the higher the marks.
What I did was I spent every weekend learning 8 new AS Kanji until about February when I finished the full 200. Then I kept repeating the learning process until they were stuck in my head.
If there's ANYTHING you ever need help with in terms of Japanese, just let me know. I'm always here to help.
