If I decide to change from a BSc to an MSci in my first year of uni, will student finance fund my extra year?

Hi there.

Is the new course you are going on an integrated masters course? If so, and you are transferring within the same Academic Year then this still only counts as the same year of funding. We base your entitlement on the length of the course you are currently on. So for example if it changes from a 3 year course to a 4 year course then we offer you 4 years of funding if it is the course you are currently on.

Thanks.
