Hello, I am not sure if this is the right place for this question, if it is not, please move this thread?

My story is a long one so bare with me:
I have never had a formal school qualification like standard grades or highers(I live in Scotland): I was home taught, until I got into an acting course at a local college. How ever, due to circumstances, the course got shut down. The course consisted of an IT unit, which I managed to get a pass in, and due to this, I was put on an NC digital media course(level 5) because I was supposedly capable of doing the work. I passed this and progressed onto level 6 NC digital media, which I also passed. I have been lead to believe these are equivalent to a levels so my questions are:

Would I need to do an access course if I want to go to uni?
And/Or
Would two NCs be enough to go to uni alone?

By the way, I am not currently at college and would prefer to go to uni in 2016.

Thanks in advance,
Jen
