£8 an hour?
Anything over £100K
Depends entirely on the position, industry, location, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera....
£80k
To live on your own I would say 25k minimum, and a good wage is around 40-60k

but what would be a good salary if you take kids and a wife into account?
In my opinion, double GDP Per Capita.

I'd say a person earning £40k was doing pretty well for themselves.
30K in Newcastle is ok, 30K in London, not so much.
£30k + is a good salary

You appear to be working in USD not Pounds Sterling. But yes, 80k would be a good salary.

Good question. Personally, I think it depends on your outgoings. If you have hardly any outgoings, for example, if you live at home with your parents, you don't need such a high salary and can live well. On the flip side of that, if you have your own house, rent or martgage, water bills, gas and electric, food, wants, loans and such - you generally need a high level salary to live well.

I think anything over 18k you can live pretty well. Circumstances depending, of course.

Absolutely. £2,500 a month in your hand is more than enough.
