Is this normal?

I went for a blood test yesterday and afterwards everything was fine. But in the evening I ended up bringing my arm straight out very quickly which caused a bit of pain to shoot around the vein where the blood was extracted. This morning when I woke up it hurt to even turn my alarm clock off. The pain isn't cribbling but it's there and I'm aware of.

Is this a normal side effect?

I haven't had a blood test in a looong time but this is normal from what I can remember! I'm sure someone more experienced will help you out, I've done my bit

Hi, the effects of having had a blood test varies from person to person - I had one done yesterday and today you would not think I had anything done, I don't think you have anything to worry about. If the pain continues or even intensifies go seek medical advice. Is there any bruising around the mark where the needle went in?

Yeah I couldn't put my arm straight for a while after my blood tests. Give it a couple of days and hope it goes away

You'll probably end up with a huge bruise.
