Unfortunatly we can't control what we dream about but it does make you feel uncomfortable for a time.

Does having lesbian dreams mean anything? (I am female)

I've had 2 lately, and it's annoying because someone I know is in it so now I feel awkward around them, even though it was only a dream!

I have a boyfriend and don't ever feel these tendancies when awake,,
Fear not, I have them all the time. I have no desire to act upon them.

if it helps, I also had a dream I killed my neighbour and chopped them into cubes, but have no desire to do this either.

It's fine to have strange dreams! If you're happy with your boyfriend and don't feel like that while awake, I would rather doubt that it means anything.

Phew, thanks guys. I hope I don't have any more!

i have lesbian dreams quite a lot and then i discovered later that i was bi.

I have lesbian dreams too, and also dreams about mutilating people.

I don't think this makes me a lesbian or a mutilator. dreams aren't a big deal, please don't worry about it.

I had one about Andrea Corr. I woke up all horny and thought I might be bi afterall... Thinking about it though, I probably am not. Don't worry about it.

To dream that you are a lesbian (but you are not in your waking life), signifies a union with aspects of yourself. It is symbolic of self-love, self-acceptance, and passion. You are comfortable with your sexuality and femininity. If, in your dream you abhor the notion of lesbianism, then it represents your fears and rejection of parts of your own sexuality.

ive had them before but i dont think it means anything

Reply 14

I get them sometimes.. but I would say that i'm bi..

They could mean absolutely nothing though... some dreams can be identified to have meanings, but not all.

Reply 15

it could symbolise something totally different, a lesbian dream might be about a choice you already feel is made for u so a dream about your sexuality is actually about another decision. it depends on how you feel in this dream and what colours and things are init, write down everything u can remember about the dream and you might start to see a connection to a differnt part of your life. maybe its about choices!

however, jung said that there is hardly a universal meaning for a particular dream symbol. it all depends on what context that symbol is in within your subconscious.

however, he said that there are a few "archetypes" that are universal dream symbols which are biologically wired into our brains, a part of our more 'animalistic' and spiritual side that we are hardly aware of. but i don't think lesbianism is one of these archetypes. usually they're more universal symbols.

i had one about a girl i knew once, and i was really worried that she'd (by some ridiculous crazy thing) had the same dream that night too, and panicked, and i felt so awkward around her! but i'm straight, and yeah...
it was only a dream

Hahaha, i had that same dream, but i didn't want anyone to find the body so i went on a literal round the world trip, and put a piece of my neighbour in each country so i didn't get caught...

I'm obviously a bit messed up....

:hahaha:

Dreams generally represent what you're thinking on a subconcious level
