Foreword: I'm almost 18 and single (and a virgin), if that adds any needed context to the post

I was at a party on Halloween, drinking, enjoying myself, hanging out, etcetera, and this is normally the case for any party I go to. Though I looked to a couple of my friends, and other guys at the party, to find them with their arms around girls they barely know, making out, and heading outside into the backyard to be alone.

I'm in good shape, I'm not ugly nor shy, so what's the secret to getting a girl at a party?

Advice and anecdotes (from both guys and ladies) are welcome.
Get drunk - you'll have the confidence to be direct and the I-Dont-Give-A-**** attitude to not care if you get rejected.

And this way will most likely result in you not being rejected, even though its false confidence they won't be able to tell. Just don't get blinding drunk that you can't get your words out haha
