I have gap between my two front teeth for years but recently it starts getting wider and affects my pronunciation. The problem is I'm turning 18 next month so I definitely will be charged for my braces. The only thing I'm not sure is the price of getting braces and can I get them with my NHS dentist?

Dependant on wether your usual dentist is also an orthodontist, and works for private sector as well as NHS? My braces cost £1,800 including everything but the retainer, however this was just top set and know it would cost around £2,000-£2,500 for both sets at my orthodontist, and some others my friends went to...
However the results are really worth the money 😁

Usually, the need of brace will vary from people and their teeth issues. So, I suggest you to go to a dentist or an orthodontist for knowing your exact teeth nature and complexity of your case.
