Ok, I admit...I have a LOT of custom content clothing (none are dodgy/corrupt). However, I have a really good laptop (yes I know laptops are **** compared to PCs but I need transportation so shh), here are some specs:
intel i7-4702MQ upto 3.2GHz, 16GB RAM, 1TB memory, Nvidia GeForce 670M 4GB graphics card. So, my laptop does run the game beautifully..it just takes about 15mins for the clothing to load in create-a-sim which is VERY painful. I was wondering if there was a way to speed up this loading? Please do not tell me to delete custom content because I'd honestly rather just wait. I have already made it load in compact view using the Master Controller mod. But, I get the impression there is more that can be done..can anyone help?
Thanks

Based thing you can do at the moment is a defrag, so files are placed for optimally in the hdd.........other than that an SSD would help.
