my bf lives 300 miles away and we have a young daughter together. He plans to move in with me next year and be a full time carer for her ( I currently use and pay for childcare). He will be giving up a £70 k job and I am full time student ( don't work) how much will i get in student finance? and will he be assessed on his income then as Nil rather than previous tax year which seems bizarre to assess that as income when that income will no longer exists. Why does it ask for previous tax year earnings on assessments? should it not be current income.

I am trying to work out the figures before we look at this solution. He cant get another job up here tried for 3 yrs and not even one interview and we are sick of been apart moreso now we have a toddler.
