Next term I have to do a 5000 word essay on a subject of ancient history of my choice. I am currently stuck on what to do the essay on, the areas that interest me are of Greek mythology and also epic poetry such as the Iliad, Odyssey and Aeneid. Does anyone have any ideas of essay topics on which I could do an independent study?
