transferring from adult nursing to mental health nursing

Hey, I'm a second year adult nursing student and I keep thinking I would rather be doing mental health nursing. Does anyone know if it possible to transfer in your second year without having to do another 3 years?
Any feedback would be appreciated

Have a chat with your uni, if there's space on the MH branch of your course you may be able to change, but this may involve you needing to go back to the start of the second year .
