AS level spanish :(

Hi, I started as level spanish in september but I really hate it :frown:

I wanna give it up because it's so hard and the work load is really bad but I don't know if my school will let me do just three as levels?

If they refuse I don't know what to do because I don't wanna spend a whole year on spanish because I can't put 100% effort into it I just really don't like it at all

The worst thing is the speaking, it's so hard and I find a lot of the time it's just memorising things and they seem to lose meaning and it feels so pointless

I always have the most work from spanish and it's hard to focus on other subjects when I know my spanish work is gonna take like a whole day

I don't think they will let me change it to be honest but it's worth a try as I really don't want to put effort into the exam when I just wanna drop it as soon as I can :frown:

I'm so sad in every single lesson it just makes me depressed ugh

I got a C at gcse so I don't even know why they let me do it, it sucks so bad!!

And I don't wanna switch to another lesson now, it's gonna take me a really long time to catch up
