Eligibility for Student Finance at University - AAT level 4 (Further question)

A poster yesterday requested information on eligibility for student finance if they complete AAT Level 4. It was this thread:

http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2957603

The response given was :

"Hi there

We have an 'equivalent level qualification' rule. This means you won't be eligible to apply for any funding if the course you intend to go on is the same level as your AAT qualification.

Thanks"

Please can you confirm specifically, if this refers to those having completed the course, or those having only studied it.

Thank you
Hello Domestrella,

You would have to have gained the qualification.

If you only studied towards it then we may be able to offer you funding.

We would take into consideration any years previous study you have so in order for us to check your eligibility please call us on 0300 100 0607.

Thanks

Thank you for replying. I had only a 24+ loan for Aat level 4 and didn't complete it and have no qualifications above level 3.

I will contact them near the time of applying to find out eligibility.
