At my 6th form there's quite a few girls doing economics/business A level, I'm sure there will be at university too. I hope there are some girls doing it lol
Trust me they are some girls doing economy at university and I might even say a lots of them so no need to worry about it

starting to worry i will be the only girl in the course as people keep acting surprised when i tell them i have applied to do economics, saying, that's usually a man's job...
also i don't know any girls who are applying for this course.
advice please? :s-smilie:

Very much depends on the uni. At Cambridge I would say it's 70/30 male/female and that's probably quite representative as a whole.

I've applied to Bristol, LSE, Warwick, Nottingham and Exeter.. hmmm:s-smilie:

Honestly it's not that male-dominated like maths, engineering, physics etc. You shouldn't even be worrying about this, it's so trivial in the grand scheme of things! Plus you don't have to hang out with economists, there's loads of other students too.
