can someone explain to me in lame man terms what UCAS is
UCAS = University and College Admissions Service. It's the centralised system through which everyone applies for their undergraduate degree. You enter all of your details, like grades and a personal statement, and it sends them off to five universities of your choice. It acts as the communication between you and the university, sending them your details and communicating back to you offers, rejections and any calls to interview.
