Whats going on with him?

I'm sure you'll think this makes no sense but it doesnt to me either but here it goes sorry for the length and confusion in advance...I met this guy out on my bday in july...we got together and i found out he was joining my 6th form in sept, he's a yr younger than me..so didnt get his no. and evrything, we communicated over summer through myspace but he got a gf a couple days after we first met so nothing happened. He was single when he started 6th form though. Okay so we have not spoken since we got bk 2 school just smiles here and there and long looks during the first couple weeks. Last week he randomly says Hi to me...he personalised it and such and i said hey bk but we couldnt stop to talk. I'd had enough of the no talking and just looks and so decided to chat to him today, just a simple question bout whether he was coming to this school thing. Me and my friend were chatting away to his girl mate abt it and i turned to ask him bout it and he just looked up at me with this lost puppy look on his face and he shook his head to say he wasnt coming and then he was looking at me after i'd walked away. He seemed a bit shy and quiet in his response and he is not like that at all just watching him round school he's really outgoing and chatty with everyone so it wasn't the response i expected..so wot do u think is going on with him!?

personaly i think he likes you, but is intimidated that your a year older, try talking to him more, maybe make the first move

Maybe he feels a little shy. New school and all that. Just give him a little time, or talk to him and make it easier for both of you!

some guys are much more chatty online than in person, which i still don't understand why. i had a friend who i spoke to so much on here, and when i joined his 6th form initially we spoke loads, but then his friends started making silly comments about us liking each other and then gradually he stopped talking to me and yeah, it still sometimes annoys me how something so good could go to nothing.

anyway, maybe its because hes new and stuff and doesn't know where he is etc, i dunno..

It's hard approaching him, as he's mostly always with a group of friends or i am and i can never think of what to say past hey, u alrite..hows school etc etc..

Whats going on with him?
