How are your feet dressed in the house?

I saw this on a website, and thought it would be funny to ask here. Who, here goes barefoot around the house or a friends house. Do you keep your socks or shoes on around your house or mates?

Personally, i hate shoes in the house, but i wouldnt go barefoot either, just keep my socks on, comfy. And in mates house, most of the time, you copy what they do.

If I already have socks on, I won't remove them, but if the floor isn't too cold and I don't plan on going anywhere, I don't wear socks around the house. It just seems like a waste of a pair then.

socks for me - feet wont get dirty + warm.
other could be slippers, or carpet squares if you're too cheap to fit carpet around the house

Barefoot here...one of my housemates at uni thought I was mad always going around our kitchen with nothing on my feet (the kitchen floor was usually filthy since we only cleaned it once a month for an inspection) :biggrin:

Unless it's summer, pretty much all the time.

I've taken to wearing tights and socks recently, actually, since I like having my window open at all hours, but my house is already cold most of the time (and my father of course refuses to turn the heating on) and I'm quite sensitive to the cold.

Barefoot, except when it's winter and i'm cold. I'd probably slip over once or twice in socks on this wooden laminate floor.

I'm currently wearing socks, but only because I wore them with shoes. I don't put socks on just to wear in the house.

I always wear socks, Im one of those people who feel cold all the time so I have to, regardless of the weather! Otherwise my feet are like iceblocks! Ive got two pairs on today!

Always wear socks. I don't think I've ever walked about anywhere barefoot with the possible exceptions of beaches, swimming pools, bathrooms and my bedroom when walking to the sock drawer.

And I'm not one of those people who takes their shoes off if they've just come in from going out either... if they're on, the usually stay on.
