Got my mate a bday prezzie, but will others take it wrong?

Well ok this thread might be a bit dumb but this is me fretting over little things. This is all about my closest guy mate who i've known for a year now.
Basically i got him a t-shirt and dog chain for his 18th bday and im planning to give it to him on monday. The problem is im worried that some of my other mates may think that i like him in a more than a friend type way. I know that none of his other mates prob would be organised enough to give him a present on monday so it might look a bit strange if im standing there with this big gift bag.
Im 100% sure that he knows we're just really close mates and plus he called me his sister once but im worried about what everyone else will say. Well you know how rumours can fly in sixth form! :rolleyes:

i think youre being paraniod.
its his birthday so you have a reason to give him a present.
its not like you randomly brought him a gift for no reason at all, if you did then your mates might start to think something

As above, you probably wont be the only one to have gotten him a pressie- remember he's your friend, you dont have to have an excuse to get him anything.

yeah but someone might ask the guy what he got for his birthday and he might mentioned what she got him and they might be like hmm when did she give you that? i dunno
