Which part of the brain is it?

How can the subconscious be exploited for a more richer life?

I'm sure there are videos on youtube about this, people in MRI machines and parts of their brain working in a subconscious state!

I don't know if there's a specific brain structure I never looked into it
but I believe it exists

there's many books out there on how to utilise the subconscious to make for a richer life, go searching for some, my auntie has loooads, I've read a few of them, some of them repeat the same things

Tell your heart to stop beating.

You can't. There, you have a subconscious.

Well, some yogis apparently can?

Why is there such a thing as depression? Why do people get annoyed/sad/upset/angry?

Surely people should be able to just make themselves/feel happy?

The subconscious isn't any one particular part of the brain and it's not really a tangible thing, more of a concept. It's the opposite of conscious, and to be conscious is to be aware and in control. The conscious and subconscious parts of the mind can sometimes shift and overlap (e.g. when a subconscious memory is brought to conscious awareness).
