ABRSM Music grades on UCAS?

As I am applying to Oxford my UCAS has to be finished tomorrow in order to allow time for a reference. I have noticed that generally Oxbridge applicants have more UCAS points than the usual 3 As & therefore wondered whether I should put music grades down. I am taking grade 7 this November - can I put pending? Is it also worth putting down grade 5 theory even though it adds no points?I also have grade 5 in three other instruments but have yet to take grade 7.
What do you think?

i bel u can only put one instrument down. also most oxbirdgers will have taken 4A2's anyway

You can put it down, it will do no harm, it shows you do other stuff as well as academic work.

You can put down as many as you want. Shows you can do more than just the academic stuff. I'm pretty sure I put my grade 7 piano as pending (I'd already recieved a date for it when I sent off my UCAS), but I mentioned my grade 8 cello in my PS as I hadn't yet booked it.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure that "most" oxbridge people having 4 A2s is rubbish. Some will, some might have five including general studies or further maths, but they make offers based on three grades, so that's what matters.

i ve done Piono grades 1-6 and im doing 8 right now (missed 7)..

but i only got 1 merit (or 2..was in grades 1 + 2 i think) and subsequently it was all passes..

should i put it down?

you got the grades didnt you, you dont have say u got pass you just put that you got the grades.

I put the highest grade I've done for each instrument down on mine....there were about 6 instruments down, some which were higher grades, some were only grade 2 :p:

it all shows you've got other interests...I hope!!

So are you meant to put down your actual marks and not pass/merit/distinction :confused:

I don't think I even know my specific marks, only have my certificates.
Arghhh, the whole process is so stressful, I've already sent my UCAS application off, the worryings are supposed to stop by now :p:

I put down my Grade 5 theory and my Grade 7 flute :smile:

I put Grade 5 Piano, theory and Grade 3 flute down..know they arent worth anything - but I mentioned I was taking grade 5 flute and 6 piano soon :smile:
