The Talybont Court ones are too small, I've lost count of the times I've been down there today and all the machines have been in use! Gar!

And the radiators aren't on yet, so i'm stuck with damp clothes!

Don't waste your money on the driers! I know the rooms are tiny and the radiators are the size of a postage stamp but you can still just about fit in a clothes airer, or try having it in the kitchen if your flatmates don't mind. Also I tied a cord up from the unused curtain rail in my room across to the coat hook on the opposite side and draped clothes over it. Most stuff only took about a day to dry.

On another note when I was there three years ago some right twunts once filled all the washers up with copies of Gair Rhydd and flooded the place. Very clever.

I bought a big x-wing airer from tesco (£20 but SO worth it) and put it in my bathroom during the night (i'm in taly south) and my room during the day so there's a nice breeze coming through my window. It's fantastic! Seriously, don't bother with the driers in the launderette, all of my flatmates complain about them and are jealous of my system

I have an airer too, so I'll probably have a very similar system if I ever actually manage to wash my clothes. It was empty earlier but having never washed my clothes before I need to wait until I can drag a flatmate down to help me! :p:

The situation is getting quite dire.. I have very few t-shirts left!

 you've never washed clothes before?

I've obviously been a very pampered child! I've just spoken to my mum and finally figured out how to do it, and I went down to check the situation and all the machines are being used. The door also seems to not like me and wouldn't let me in.. which was odd. I was going to go at a really unsocial hour but now I'm worried I'll get there and won't be able to get in! Damn door!

The driers aren't that bad people!! Years of students have survived with them so far. Just have to do a bit longer than 20 mins on it.
Is the laundrette still 8am-10pm? It was 24 hours when we got there, but drunk students trashed it, so then got locked at night for the rest of the year....

Its 8am - 10pm in Court! I managed to get myself a machine and everything has come out the same size and colour as when it went in, result. Whether its clean I'm not sure, certainly smells clean!
