Right one drunken night my flatmate got a little drunk, and then got really well on with this girl

They went back to one of their bedrooms and pretty well had it off (dont know if actual sex was involved but it sounds they got pretty close)

Anyway this morning the girl said that their was nothing to worry about the relationship and that it was nothing (all to do with Freshers week), but my flatmate seems to hold sex with a higher regard.

He wants the relationship to continue,

What should he do, as he really would like the relationship to continue. Is it possible it was a throw away comment to make him or her not feel guilty

Oh for the pros of anonymity

he cant realy make her have a relationship if she doesnt want it. if he likes her he should tell her and see what happens

Reply 10

No he can't force her, this is one of the risks of having a bit of casual fun one of the involved party may develop deeper feelings.

Reply 11

Exactly what I said, explain your feelings. Thanks guys.

Sounds like she was just in it for a bit of fun. Perhaps you should see how she is with him for the next week and if she brushes him off tell him what she is like x

So they had sex when drunk and now he's pursuing her? He should back off, she clearly just wanted to get laid because she was drunk & horny and he happened to be there. He'll just be wasting his time and making a fool of himself if he goes after her when she has already stated she is not interested.

The short version: tell him to get over it.
