I think this video sums up my thoughts on the matter pretty thoroughly.

It's almost as if any form of female sexuality being displayed in the media has now become oppressive/sexist/misogynistic/objectification.

Funnily enough, it seems like women's magazines are the only ones that seem to be dodging this never-ending outrage.

That was brilliant.
It's a pretty ugly shirt, but you see people wearing a lot worse all the time.
Get some perspective, people!
If you're going to wear something like that in public, don't cry if you attract the 'wrong' sort of attention.

Not saying he deserved it but he at least should share part of the blame for being dressed like that.
Boris Johnson wrote a rather nice piece in the Telegraph today about it, thankfully the article is also available online (and was trending on Facebook), consequently I can share it:

FWLIW Any Taylor watchers or rosetta fans in the London area might be interested to know that he'll be speaking at a public lecture on Thu 26th February (presumably about comet science... not shirts)

I would say that being an ambassador at an esteemed position, I would not expect someone to show such disregard, granted I don't know what abuse has been thrown about, but there's been abuse even to those saying it's not cool to wear that shirt.

I wouldn't expect other ambassadors in other fields to show lack of professionalism. Science should be no different. It also smears the view on scientists as jokers for those who might not be as exposed to that line of work.

I really hope that's sarcasm
