I get to hear on the 25th (I think, heh) whether Ashburne will have me back again. And whether I'll get a bay window

Anyone have any pictures of Hulme or Dalton Ellis?

I've already seen those I wanted to see other bigger ones.
On that note, could anyone post some pics of Canterbury Court?

Wait, are you in Ashburne now?

I didn't reapply to Ashburne this year. It's a fantastic place and a really good hall to be in, but I want to experience new things  Can't be wasting time; I only have 3 or 4 years here!

Nah, but I was in Ashburne for the two years before that  I've discovered that I actually quite miss having so many people around, I often end up rattling alone in my current house because my housemates work odd hours... also miss the library, and the computer room (though I do have my own, but sometimes I need university software that I can't afford), and not having to make breakfast :p: Plus being woken up at 3am because someone set the fire alarm off with drunken cooking - ok, not the last bit

As I see it, it's not an experience I'll be able to have again, so may as well make the most of it

^I'm thinking about university Halls of residence...Well, I'm thinking of going for catered, and it seems that the halls in Victoria Park are the nearest. Any feedback about this area? How's it like- socially, safety, facilities?

So manchester students... what accommodation do you recommend? i want to be self catered but I'm not sure whereabouts. I want a good social hall and not majorly pricey.

oak house Vs owens park.

I honestly can't decide. I like the social sides and the ideas of BOPS at owens, however I do like my quiet time at the same time. Both look aesthetically displeasing though, which is the nicest on the inside? Thanks!

My boyfriend lived in oak in his first year (last year) and its fine inside, Kitchens and living areas are pretty good, bedrooms are alright, Bathrooms are an ok size and equipped with all you need. There wasnt a lock on the bathroom door though, which I thought was weird lol.
Ive seen far far worse to be honest, and ita quite cheap as I recall.
Seems like quite a social place aswell.

Hiya, I have a list of 7 halls that im interested in.. really hard to cut down. I think it may come down to cost. Anyway, I was wondering about Oak House- whats it like? social? popular? good and bad about it would be appreciated.

Also about Whitworth- people seem to love it or hate it. I'm unable to go look at it, and I've heard its quite.. not sure what the right word is.. but a little cramped, dark and not too nice in places, but it sounds like a great location and lively place. So i was wondering what those living there felt about it?

Any advice would be welcomed. I'm also looking at Richmond/Sheavyn/Burkhard/Wright-Robinson/Weston
