I got in on Canterbury...which was my 3rd choice :frown:
But the more I look into it the more I like it :p: besides when I went to visit, I much preferred it to my 1st choice which was Weston!
GL with those :yep:

that IS a huge advantage about the City ones though...you can wake up late and still be on time for the lectures etc
Whitworth isn't too oversubscribed is it?? Chances are, you'll get it if its not - I wonder on what basis they allocate these though, seems awfully random.

It seems to get a lot of people wanting it, i know i don't think it's really fair as people who applied later can get in over those who did it earlier

That's really unfair :frown: i don't think the way they do it is right. I applied really early for accomodation too, but just got my unconditional yesturday as i got my results. If i don't get into Whitworth i'll be really annoyed. Orginally though i did have 2 choices at Whitworth, but then changed because i didn't want to be there without a sink lol

Hey, I just go an offer through clearing and I'm accepting it
As I have to apply for accommodation which one should I go for? Which ones are quiet/loud?

At the moment I'm looking at Burkhardt and Hulme... and possibly Dalton Ellis

Generally Victoria Park ones are quiter than accommodation in Fallowfield. You can often get fire alarm going off in middle of night if you stay in Fallowfield.

When you say quieter, is that considering the fire alarms or is that just the people?
I've gone for the Victoria Park ones...

Both.

The more hardcore party-goers tend to reside in Fallowfield.
Anyone else got their accomodation offer? I got mine today via email! Got my first choice of Pankhurst Court in the Victoria Park area, anyone else gonna be living here?
