Re. the Direct Debit I dont have a clue as im paying all up front and my mum sorted all the forms out!

Anyone else got their accomodation offer? I got mine today via email! Got my first choice of Pankhurst Court in the Victoria Park area, anyone else gonna be living here?

Ok i've just got my accomodation offer for Pankhurst Court ensuite, but reading this thread just makes me want to be in Fallowfield! Is the Victoria Park area really that dull and boring? Also will it be far to get from Victoria Park area to the nightlife in Fallowfiled? Im getting well worried now, Im a really sociable person and love partying, im starting to think ive chosen the wrong halls!!

You can bus it or even walk to Fallowfield quite easily from VP. But it is a more green and quiet area than Fallowfield. I have a couple of mates who stayed there and they loved it, but it's not for everybody.

Ok, thanks. Oh, do we have to pick modules too? I thought we did that when we get there.

on the booklet i got, there was a little book which said BA economics...and inside that it showed all the topics to choose from. Its good to just have an idea what topics you'lle choose from before you start

Ah, I see. I've got that booklet too, trying to decide what subjects I'd want to pick modules from. Btw, are you going to do the highest level of Maths and Statistics modules because you did A level Maths? I was wondering which one I'll have to do, I'd rather do the middle level.

And the accomodation office had better be sending more e-mails tomorrow!

Which one (VP or Fallowfield) would you say is in higher demand?

how about city campus?? i didnt get any of my choices , but lumbered with fairfield hall. havent really heard much about the city campus - socialising wise ?
also how far away is it from fallowfield walking/getting the bus in..

lol wouldnt we all love to do the middle level maths !!! But i think its chosen according to what level of maths you did at Alevel. If you did it only at AS and dropped it, you would go to the middle level. Unfortunately i have to do the advanced maths module

And yes lets hope you get your accomadation tomorrow so that you can join in with our excitement haha
