hey where is the best place to meet someone. coffee? movies? other?

yep those places, never non-public place

The cinema is kinda unsocial.

A pub would be nice.

I should go to bed.

Reply 5

It's hard to chat at the cinema, so a pub or coffee shop is probably better.

Reply 6

A coffee shop, a big one like Costa or Starbucks as they always have people in.

I've met up with internet friends in Oxford Street, in a coffee shop, and, possibly somewhat worryingly, at a petrol station outside their house. Just make sure you know them and can recognise them easily. I walked past one of my internet friends the first time we met up because I didn't really recognise her.

Ive met at places like outside the train station in town or at a certain place in the mall. Usually we walk around the shops for a bit, maybe go grab some lunch etc. Dont go for cinema as im sure you'll wanna talk to your new found friend.

Bar is obviously a good one as well if your old enough.

I met someone off the internet once at the train station. We both traveled to a bigger station as I didn't want to go to the one in my home town as it's alot smaller, then went to have a coffee followed by awalk around the town centre and leisure park.

Worked out well....was always people around and I'm glad to say we're going out

Victoria station, where the only things brave/stupid enough to swoop in and attack you are pigeons - and then only if you are covered in breadcrumbs.

Never meet for the first time at KUSU though - too many whales about.

PUBLIC PLACE!!!!!!! for def.

I would argue against pub, as alcohol can equal doing things one regrets if consumed in too-large quantities...

Coffee shop a good idea.
