Application acknowledgement from Unis?

what does it mean when unis say application acknowledgement? Are you more or less likely to get an interview or rejected ? Some of my unis sent it about 2 weeks ago, but I still haven't heard back?

It's just to let you know that they've received your application. It doesn't mean you're more or less likely to get rejected, or more or less likely to receive an offer.
