modern languages at bristol university (vs birmingham)

hi there i was wondering if anyone could give me their opinion of the modern languages course/department in general at bristol?

i went to the open day and really liked the uni but am worried that its the city that i like more rather than the department!

any thoughts or comments will be much appreciated. thanks!
In all honesty both universities have a similar reputation therefore i'd suggest going to the one you'd prefer to live in most after all you will be living there for 3 or more years
I applied to and looked round both and I have to say I think Bristol have better facilities and resources and a wider range of modules, but honestly it depends what aspects you're most interested in.
