‘With reference to different historical interpretations, critically discuss the causes of the February and October Revolutions of 1917’.

Does this mean I have to state full on points of view (say something definitely was the cause of) and make an argument in my introduction? Do all essays have to argue a conclusive point? Thanks

State your argument all the way through subtly but definitely argue for both sides, the conclusive point can support aspects of both points
