I don't find M2 difficult at all. However, M3 is probably the hardest one that I'm doing.
But in response to your question, Chapter 2 is harder.
Out of all chapters, I'd say Ch5 is hardest.
I was able to get through projectiles in Ch1 very easily with these equations.

You'll find M2 easier than M1 by the end

I'd say probably the harder moments questions, but only because they were 9 marks on the exam and you've got to be very careful.

I found the first half of Chapter 5 to be hard.

I agree with those that said M2 is easier than M1.
It is much easier, but to answer your question I'd say that chapter 2 is the most complicated.
However with practice you can find your common mistakes and try avoiding them.
I'd advice you to practice as much as you can, and then you'll find that M2 is just a piece of cake

Don't know which chapters correspond to what, I've already forgot tbh, but centres of mass was horrible, the one section I didn't like. I wouldn't recommend learning any special formula's for chapter 1, it's better to understand what you are doing than worry about silly formula's I can assure you that you should have more than enough time to do a bit of rearrangement (which is where most formulas come from).

Just think of it as M1 SUVAT in two dimensions rather than 1. Only major difference between chapter 1 and the SUVAT in M1 is you consider horizontal and vertical separately.

Don't worry about it anyway, most stuff in M2 didn't make sense to me until we started ploughing through exam papers.

We're doing M1 and M2 this year (M1 now and M2 next)
How long until this miraculous click? I'd say C3/4 even are far easier.

Nice I did the same. Near the end of m1 for me. Once u put some effort into understanding what is actually happening in a lot of these situations!
