http://www.lumosity.com/ Boast that their games can help improve your memory. I tried it for a while, not too sure about the results but the games were a fun way to procrastinate haha!

On another note, if you need the memory for an exam or such, then just use cue cards and re-read them every week. It works like magic!

It'll be especially good if you can structure the cards in question forms

for line memorization I use various methods:

I write it in different fonts, I say it in different emotions, I look at different items while remembering facts...

But for history dates I have to sketch and make graphs and connect it to a personal story of a fictional character that I invent...

What do you want to remember? Day-to-day-stuff or something specific?

My day to day memory is terrible >.> so I could do with some advice....

But the cue cards help TREMENDOUSLY with my dentistry revision. I think you should give it a go. Remember to make them in question formats. e.g. "what's the function of mitochondria?" then on the opposite side write the answer.

That way it's always interesting
