worse topic imo. I cant stand it.
wots ur views on it? do u recon its the hardest one? any tips on performng better?

I adore it. It will earn me hundreds of thousands of pounds in my life. It's cool. Just cos you can't see it, it doesn't make it a bad thing!

Without it, you wouldn't have been able to post your message!

im assuming you're talking about GCSE physics. ah its not that bad.

Urgh! Electricity! :eek:

All that volt-amps reactive c**p and phasor rubbish ... {puke}

"You can't be serious!" {echoes of McEnroe}

Anything is better than electricity! I hate all that equivalent circuits stuff and transforming the current/voltages on either side of a transformer. And don't get me started on sychronous machines! :mad:

I can't stand Quantum Mechanics (or Optics for that matter). Is that the Thévenin thing? Synchronus machines? I like circuits, just don't like the way we were taught it (we had to teach ourselves). I like electromagnetism too and it was definetly easier than anything else last term.

I dislike some of it. Kirchoffs law isnt bad.

I think all the stuff to do with currents crossing magnetic fields is worse.

Synchronous machines is basically a fancy word for motors and generators.

I never understood EM especially applications to Antennae Theory. Totally clueless. :frown:

What year are you in? I guess antennae stuff must be specific to engineering, cos we haven't done any of it (though I'm not sure if we do it next year).

Well I don't mind electricity really (more interesting than magnetic fields!) but I am looking forward to Quantum Mechanics. I hope the fact that women are worse at Physics/Maths isn't really true and is just because they are generally discouraged from studying it...otherwise I might be in trouble come October!

4th and final (I am old - but not that old :tongue: ). Feel glad that you will prob never have to do anything related to antenna theory!

Look to Ingrid Daubechies as a role model!
