if a guy is talking to a female friend about a girl (me) and he says "i like her but i don't know how much," what is that supposed to mean?? :confused:

He dosen't know how much he likes you. He knows he has affection for you but isn't quite sure as to how much this affection is owned. Yeah.

i think it just means that he has feelings for you but he doesn't know to what extent. he doesn't know how strong or how weak his feelings are and it could vary. but there's obviously something there if he's talking to someone about it right? it'll probably take a little bit to get him to talk to you, but then once he does things will be fine. he might be confused or unsure and that's perfectly fine, just as long as he's not confused when he tells you how he feels [assuming that he will].

I can relate to that. He possibly likes the girl as more than a friend but at the moment doesn't know her well enough to decide as he doesn't want to commit feelings. He doesn't know what feels comfortable and it could be just a friends thing - but i'm sure he'll tell your friend at some point.

Any guy who says that actually means he despises said "girl" to the pit of his soul and plans on murdering her with Freddie Krueger style knife gloves. Hope this helps.
