The Student Room Group

Got with a guy in my block...very awkward..

On the first night of Freshers I ended up pulling this guy who lives on my corridor in halls. I was drunk and wouldn't have done so if I'd been sober. We ended up in his bed (!!) but didn't have sex - however, he did finger me and I tossed him off.

That was two nights ago and now I feel SO awkward! I have to see him all the time obviously, and don't know how to act around him. I don't want anything to happen between us but it's so embarrassing knowing that he's not much more than a stranger yet knows me so intimately...

Don't worry, you were drunk and things happen. Forget it
Oh dear. I hope you won't be doing that again in a hurry.

I'm afraid the only option, if you want to save face, is to simply be open with him about it and laugh it off.

hmm simaler thing happened with me and it's not been as bad as I thought. I went to a party with 3 of my male friends, ended up getting paraletic and they kindly looked after me for the evening however I got with and went to 2nd base both ways with a random who turned out to be from school and 2 years below! it was laughed about for the bit. We've acknowledged each other with a nod but now just ignore each other. It happens but just be mature and act naturally.

Oh ffs, this happens all the time at uni. It's just one of those things.

Be upfront and open with him or just laugh it off, doesn't really matter and within a few months things will almost invariably be fine.

dont worry i pulled (+more) a friend of a friend and we just spoke about it normally afterwards, dont turn it into a big thing when it clearly isnt.

INCEST!

I always wondered whether that happened at uni, i hope i get a hot mum.

And yeah, just either laugh it off or carry on like it didn't happen, it's only awkward for as long as you make it awkward.

Option 1: Kill him.

Option 3: Kill everybody in the whole world

If you choose option number 3, can you do it next week please? I'm looking forward to this weekend.

This type of thing happens all of the time. It is no big deal.

u have learnt a lesson - don't crap on u own doorstep.
It's only embarrassing because you are chosing to make it embarrassing. Act normal and carry on as if it didn't happen and he will heave a sigh of relief and do the same. Soon you go from acting normal to not caring about it any more.

My advice (it's not really advice) is not to do things you can't deal with afterwards. Why you'd be hung up over something so minor, I can't even begin to imagine, but it'd recommend dropping the 12 year old attitude to sex if you want your life to be free of this type of unecessary stress. Or stop 'pulling' and 'tossing off' random people.
