Edexcel A2 History Coursework: China?

I'm doing coursework on China 1900-2000 (ish). Does anybody know of any textbooks, or websites? I have no idea what I'm doing, nor does anybody else in my class! :frown:

Any help would be great :smile:

Research main events that occurred in that period
Google, Wikipedia etc
There was a civil war going on at that time and then the government took over controlling everyone
There's a book I would recommend called the wild swans: the three daughters of China
It's good for background knowledge and info on how ppl felt during that period and how they lived, traditions and reactions to change.

Can anyone tell me what you need to get an A* overall in edexcel history a level?

Some say 90% AVERAGE over courseiwrk and exam in A2, others say you need an A* in BOTH the exam and the courseiwrk at A2??
