One of my exs took me to alton towers, its was really fun and got to know each other and have lots of fun at the same time. Much better than going to the cinema or pub as others have been like that. It just depends on the girl i suppose and funds

Bowling - it''s fun, cheap and you can also chat and get to know one another in a nice atmosphere.
to an abbatoire.
the bedroom.

Dogging spot? You could teach her the rules.
Nice walk in a park/ by a river, somewhere you can get to know her and be relaxed and keep moving. When you sit somewhere it's always awkward if there is a silent moment. If you're walking and it's silent at least you could say 'ooh look at that' x

Just go for a few drinks at a nice quiet bar, nothing too fancy, somewhere you can sit and have a good night

Good first date places:
Zoo - You can learn a lot about a person by how they react around animals. And, conversation just flows out of it.
Bookstore - You can grab a cup of coffee or tea and talk about what kinds of books you like. And, if one of the parties doesn't read often, then the other can do more talking. If neither do, you can just browse the picture book section and it's sure to spark a conversation at some point.
Take a Class - Area culinary school or college. Learn something fun and be around lots of other people. Takes away from the awkward ness.
Comedy - Movies can be awkward because you're focusing on a set story line. A comedy show with a live comedian provides engagement with the audience and so the focus of attention is changed from your own mind to the jokes. And, laughter always anyone more comfortable. And, if the comedian sucks, you can always complain to each other afterwards.

The best date I was ever taken on was a chemistry cousre, we did really fun experiments, worked out equations together, even analysed the carboxhylic intake in our lunch....oh the memories. Oh, and at one point, his hand slipped over the conical flask and touched my soft, latexed, hand, I stared into his eyes, and his hand wandered over my overall along my waist, and our lips were just about to touch, when.....our goggles knocked into each other, but it was so exotic and sensual, I will never forget that passionate moment in the chemistry lab, alone.

So my advice would be to go on a science course, mmmm hot and steamy memories there!

Can I have your number, I love your sense of humour

No i really do

Somewhere nice and quiet, bar, pub, tourist attraction.

Clubs are not reccomended
If it was sunny, I'd love to have a picnic in the park. Or at the top of a grassy hill (well more a bump really). I love rolling down hills. It's so much fun and it would be great to do that again with someone!
It depends how well you already know each other. If you're just getting to know each other, then somewhere public is good, bowling etc. If you already know each other, something sweet like a picnic somewhere deserted, or going for a moonlit walk is always a good bet
