25.5 inch waist

I'm 5"4.5 (guess there's something about half inches). Given the load of measurements that are around in the news and this size zero thing, is a 25.5 inch waist a little too thin?

NO!! I don't think so anyway....I'm about 5ft 9 with a 28 inch waist...and it is far from tiny.... Wasn't there a rumor about Kylie having a 20 inch waist? Or am I mistaken.....it may have been 25...

A waist measurement alone doesn't really tell much! I'm taller & only 1.5" wider on the waist but far from looking thin, which my hip & bust measurements in addition might suggest... :p:

BMI (Body Mass Index) might be a more useful approximation of whether your weight is in a "normal" range for your height if you're concerned - you can get charts age & sex adjusted too.

But otherwise - if you're healthy then why worry?

I'm 5ft 5 1/2" and I have a 25 inch waist, if the rest of you is small as well then some people might consider you to be skinny and disgusting bla bla (I've had this) and if you just have a tiny waist don't worry about it. Don't worry about the first thing anyway, if you are eating properly and your face looks healthy then that is just your body type and don't let the media scare you.

I'm 5'7 and have a 23 inch waist and am trying to get it down to 22.5 (not succeeding tho).

I honestly can't believe someone as gorgeous as you would worry about how they look!
I suppose in Australia though, with all the heat, all the girls will walk around practically naked, and the pressure to have a perfect body will be quite bad!
It's not like we get the chance to wear bikinis over here - especially up North where I live. Then when I'm on holiday in my bikini I don't care how I look as nobody knows me :biggrin:
