Mind you, just about anything can pass for art these days...five years ago the Turner Prize was awarded to a guy whose piece of "art" was just an empty room with two lights that flashed on and off :rolleyes:

Just because it wasnt purposefully made to be art doesnt mean its not art.

No but art can be pornographic.

It is if it's got more of a point to it than just getting people off.

It could have a political or feminist idea to it for example.

Yes. I say this as leader of a highly reputable artistic society: pornography is art. There is a delicate and ingenious artform to arousing a human; stimulating their soul; ejaculating their stress and irritation, for a whole two to ten minutes. Sex is art, there is no question about it. From the lowliest amateur smut, to Hugh Hefner's magazine empire, pornography is the most beautiful artform of the 21st century.

Your all trying to define art. It cant be defined, which is why anything and everything is art, as everything has abstrat qualities - nothing is just what you see. I think we idenifty these abstrations and generally interpret them via emotion, and so you can call anything art.

I could just say Porn is art because I say it is.
